Refund Policy

At the WeddingOutlet we understand that your wedding day is probably the biggest event of your life.  We want our brides to look breathtaking on their big day and 100% happy with our products and services.

All pieces of our clothing are  made to order, in the event that you ordered a standard size (eg. wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, suit or ties) and if for any reason you ordered the wrong size, dress doesn’t fit you properly, you don’t like the style etc. you can return it back to us within 7 days and we will offer you a credit to exchange it for anything you like on the website.

All garments are sent with tracking numbers with registered post

What does this mean for you?

It means that you can now order a dress (standard size), try it on and then if you don’t like it, simply return it back to us to exchange it for someone different like a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, wedding favours, ties etc.

For example you can order bridesmaid dresses, and if for some reason you don’t like it and want to return it, simply post it back to us and use the credit to exchange it for something else eg. different style, different colour or other products. The credit has no expiry period and can be used to exchange for equal or higher value.

The return address is in Australia. Buyer pays for the return postage.

This also applies to custom made designs, if you want us to custom make a design for you and  you want to return it, simply return it back to us and use the credit to exchange it for other things like a different wedding gown or bridesmaid dresses etc. This way, you can save thousands getting your dream dress made with us for a fraction of the price in a store, and you have nothing to lose.

Our standard delivery times is 8-10 weeks for us to remake another garment for you , so if you need the garment urgently you will need to pay for the express costs. The item that you are returning can’t be worn outside the house, perfumed, spoiled, stained or give hints it’s already been worn for the occasion.

All items that we  deliver are sent by registered post with tracking numbers. As a reassurance to buyers we use Paypal as our credit card facilitator. Paypal has a buyer protection policy which you can read more about from here:

If you requested us to custom make the garment for you, eg. If you gave us measurements for your body. Then, if you simply change your mind, we don’t accept exchanges/refunds on this because we made it tailored to your body shape. If the garment doesn’t fit you, we would recommend you taking it to a tailor for minor adjustments. If you believe it was made incorrectly to your measurement, please take a photo of your garment to show us the measurements as proof. Then we can exchange and remake/alter it for you. Please allow around 8- 10 weeks  if you require us to remake/alter the garment for you. We will pay for your postage sent back to us.

We don’t offer refunds on just a change of heart. All our dresses look the same as the website, so we don’t offer refunds if you don’t like the colour or style anymore.  If you are unsure about the colour, we suggest you to order a colour swatch to ensure you are happy with it first. If you are unsure about the style then we suggest ordering 1 x style first if you are really not sure which style to order.

All our pieces of clothing are made to order and require workmanship and fabric costs.  So we don’t offer exchanges/refunds on the grounds that the client changed their opinions about the item, however we do accept exchanging the item for a different size so it will fit you.

If for any reason you believe our products is faulty or a misrepresentation of the product, you can return the goods back to us for a repair, exchange or a credit for the item. We will pay for your return postage.

In the event that the item you need to change is a higher value, the purchaser pays for the difference for the higher valued item. Eg.In the event that you bought a dress that is $299.95 and need to exchange it for the $599.95 dress, you will need to pay for the $300 difference.

Please measure accurately when submitting measurements for custom making. We are not liable if you send us incorrect measurements which lead to the item not fitting.  All other non-garment items are available for exchanges. You will need to send the items back to us and we can exchange it for you. Purchaser pays for return postage.
